Original Toronto Star caption: Shirley Crombie, wife of Mayor David Crombie, sits in the room setting at the Canadian National Exhibition's Better Living Centre which was decorated to her specifications. Designer Mario de Nagay decorated the room in autumn shades of gold, yellow, orange and brown. The deep-cushioned box seating, seen at right, is taken from Simpson-Sears' catalogue for fall, and sells at $29.98 a section. The unit is available in orange, brown, acid green, blue denin. The interior display, called Dream Rooms of Canadian Celebrities includes kitchen designed for Kate Reid.
