Original Toronto Star caption: At funeral of Lady Eaton, grandsons acting as pallbearers carry casket from the Timothy Eaton Memorial Church on St. Clair Ave. W. Lady Eaton, widow of Sir John Eaton and a widely known philanthropist and patron of the arts, died Thursday at home at the age of 91. The church where the service was held was built in 1911 as a memorial to Timothy Eaton the founder of the Eaton business.
