Original Toronto Star caption: Cornerstone-laying can be fun. Etobicoke Mayor Dennis Flynn yesterday re-laid cornerstone on the new wing of the Etobicoke civic centre. It was laid when the centre was built in 1957. Joining the north and south blocks; the new wing is scheduled for completion early next year. Adding a note of levity; Flynn lifted a mortar-laden trowel; turned to Alderman Ruth Grier (left) and said: This is the only way to shut up an Irish girl.
