Journey for Lives runner Steve Fonyo rides down University Ave. at the head of the parade marking the start of the 57th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Fonyo; the grand marshal of yesterday's parade and youth ambassador to the fair; had an escort of eight Mounties. More than 900 youths took part in the parade; in keeping with the theme of the show - International Year of Youth.
