Metro Chairman Paul Godfrey tries out a fielder's glove after announcing yesterday that a Canadian consortium had bought the San Francisco Giants for $13;250;000. But deal must be approved by 9 of other 11 league team owners before it becomes final. It will be discussed by them at a meeting Wednesday in Arizona.
