Original Toronto Star caption: Shopkeeper Noubar Toumisyan can understand why two armed bandits tied him up and took his money; but he can't figure out why they took his eyeglasses. Toumisyan was behind the counter of his Becker's milk store on Kingston Rd. near St. Clair Ave. last night when two men walked in shortly after 9 p.m. and pointed handguns at him. I know life is cheap in this country so there was no way I was going to give these punks any excuse to take mine; said the Armenian-born shopkeeper; who immigrated to Canada with family about a year ago. They put guns to my head; tied my hands and took my money. But why would they take my glasses?
