Original Toronto Star caption: One bundle of stolen money was found in lane off Bastedo Ave.; in back of a Danforth fruit store. The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce branch at Danforth and Coxwell Ave. was robbed of about $1;800 around 2 p.m.; Constable Leslie Maitland; with trainee Brian McCullum with him; was one of the policemen answering the bank alarm. They left their cruiser and began searching the area on foot.
