Original Toronto Star caption: Members of the families of two North York girls found shot to death in a Downsview field follow the coffin of one out of the Peoples Church after the girls' funeral yesterday. About 400 persons attended the funeral for Donna Stearne and Wendy Tedford; both 17 and both members of Peoples Church. The choir; of which Miss Stearne had been a member; sang as some of the choristers cried. The two girls met four years ago at C.W. Jefferys Secondary School and had been friends since then - close friends in life and in death the minister commented.
