Original Toronto Star caption: Patients on the lawn of the Mauritius hospital hold flags in their hands as they anxiously await Margaret's visit. At Zanzibar; bearded; turbaned warriors; 1;000 strong; thronged around the royal car howling and hooting. The rattle of drums and the warlike dance was so spectacular the Princess showed excitement for the first time on the tour. She waved; nodded and smiled; her face animated with pleasure. Sword dance is the traditional welcome to the Island of Cloves.
