Engraved t.p. with vignette. Eighteen of the animal engravings have been copied from Thomas Bewick's ''Quadrapeds'' (London, 1790), but are reversed with the backgrounds changed. Frontispiece and final plate are paste downs. Three of the illustrations are dated ''Jany. 1. 1798.''
