Lot 11, Con. 4 East. York Mills Rd. - 1340. Leadley Farm, York Mills Road west of Victoria Park Avenue, north side. Settled by Allison Leadley in 1840, the land originally passed from the Crown to Kings College in 1828. The farm (originally named Cloughton Grange) passed to John Leadley in 1881. Later James White, who married Elizabeth Jane Duncan, took over the farm. The house in the photo was built by the O'Connor family who owned a large amount of property east of Yonge in the 1920s.
