Original Toronto Star caption: One of the most famous, most sensationally famous, of living women vouchsafed me, this morning, a glimpse, or series of glimpses, into her mind and heart. Miss Goldman (still commonly addressed so, although twice married, 1887 and 1925) was born in Russia 64 years ago, 45 of those years in the fierce heat of publicity, in the fiercer heat of social unrest and violence, her influence, more or less great, and her gospel, more or less baneful, or beneficient, having made its way to every part of the globe.
