Original Toronto Star caption: Actress Linda Goranson says she's horrified to learn that a trap that nearly killed her dog on Saturday can be set legally by a licensed trapper in Toronto. The trap was identified by an expert as a Conibear trap, which is designed to break an animal's neck and ''kill instantly.'' Goranson, currently appearing in 'S: Portrait of a Spy' at the Toronto Workshop Productions theatre, said the trapping incident happened in a ravine near her Spadina Rd. home, not far from Sir Winston Churchill Park.
