Original Toronto Star caption: Back to the old grind after a European trip: That trip the Toronto Youth Symphony Orchestra took earlier this year to Switzerland must have plain tuckered out its members, judging from these photos taken yesterday at a rehearsal. At left, it's sort of a flutish yawn, while in the second photo it's more of a tuba effect. Trying to keep everyone interested is conductor Jacob Groob. In the fourth photo one of the young musicians tries a mute on her yawn while at right a girl lets loose with a full-throated cry of a trumpet. Next Tuesday night the youngsters will be performing their first concert since their return to Canada at Massey Hall. But when the musicians get down to the real thing they'll be much more wide awake than at this rehearsal.
