A little Dutch penny broom, sold by a woman vendor to a young boy, tells its own story of a succession of owners until it returns to the hands of the woman who made it. She refurbishes it and sells it again to a good master who only employs it ''to sprinkle his library''. Illustrated with 8 hand-coloured copperplates. Undated.
