Original Toronto Star caption: Ancient art: Mayor Gus Harris and Controller Joyce Trimmer take a lesson in Tai Chi, a form of exercise developed by the Chinese that is recommended for all ages by its devotees. The Scarborough Senior Chinese Association launched its first Tai Chi class yesterday at the Agincourt Lions Community Centre, and the mayor and controller were guests. Association president Kwan Yee Tang said she hoped the class would appeal to non-Chinese residents as well as those of Chinese origin.
