Original Toronto Star caption: Canadian auto industry is expected to turn out one million cars in the current 1976 model year, according to William L. Hawkins, vice-president of Ford Motor Company of Canada. Hawkins made the prediction as Ford held a preview of its 1976 models at Oakville yesterday. Hawkins, shown in front of the most expensive car at the preview, a Continental Mark IV, says Canada is rebounding very rapidly from a mild recession compared with a deep recession elsewhere.
