The shoes of fortune, and other tales. By Hans Christian Andersen ; with four drawings by Otto Speckter, and other illustrations. Copy 1: Bound in brown cloth. Copy 2: Bound in green cloth. Inscription: E.J. Henslowe from his affectionate brother H.C. Lane 17th August 1852. Copy 3: Rebound in green paper-cover boards. The four plates are lithographs printed in sepia by M. and N. Hanhart. The text illustrations are engraved on wood by George and Edward Dalziel. Translated by Charles Boner.
