Original Toronto Star caption: The Christian Brothers bought this Aurora land in 1914 and built on it in 1916. In 1949, when this photograph was taken, it was known as De La Salle College. In 1950, it was turned into a centre for the mentally retarded, which closed in 1983. It is now to house Ontario Provincial Police headquarters and other government offices.
