Original Toronto Star caption: Scheme to enlarge school is opposed. Birch Cliff public school to which it is proposed to construct an addition costing $60,000. Opposition has developed to the project. The trustees will outline the proposal at a meeting of ratepayers of school section 15 on Wednesday night. The present Birch Cliff school has twelve classrooms. Insert is E. Knott, chairman of the board of school trustees of school section 15, who states that an addition to the school is a necessity.
