Original Toronto Star caption: It's 12 miles outside the Metro limits but that cuts the prices of houses by at least $5,000 over similar homes built on high-priced city lots. All services are buried and streets, sidewalks, sewers are paid for. Here Mrs. Beatrice Van Zant of Bolton, examines one of the model homes available in the subdivision.

He is one of three principals in the firm which subdivides farm land, and then aggressively sells lots with the slogan Own a Piece of Canada. A team of Star investigators has disclosed that titles to many of the Whiterock Estates lots are faulty.
