This is a favourite weekend fishing resort for some of Toronto's well known society people.Caption in Toronto Star, Sat. July 26, 1913, pg. 6:Caledon Mountain Trout Club, where many of Toronto's society people stay.This photo was reprinted on Mar. 21, 1989 with the following caption: Members of The Caledon Mountain Trout Club don't go fishing for publicity. One member was quoted in a 1970 newspaper article saying the club has ''only been mentioned in social columns twice'' since it was founded. The clubhouse, as seen in this 1913 picture, sits on a 100-acre site on the Caledon Forks Rd. near the Forks of the Credit, west of Belfountain.
