Original Toronto Star caption: The energy produced was about enough to light a flashbulb light. The ZEEP, which was built primarily to calculate fuel requirements for larger reactors, is still in use today. Photo shows technicians using an overhead crane to change the fuel rods in the aluminum tank of heavy water.
