Original Toronto Star caption: Loosen up: Exercise to loosen your shoulder joints and rib cage should be done so they don't throw your ribs forward: since this puts pressure on your spine. Prevent pressure by breathing out and closing your ribs. Stretch sides: left: by lifting upward: not dropping over. Keep ribs closed to loosen shoulder joints: above left: use rib cage muscles: above right: to turn from waist.
