Original Toronto Star caption: Getting to know old Toronto. An estimated 2,000 persons turned out yesterday to walk through the oldest streets of Toronto with Donald Jones, who writes about historic Toronto buildings in the Saturday Star. The walk started at Little Trinity Church, Toronto's oldest church building, on King St., and a special police escort was provided when the procession filled both sidewalks at King St. at Parliament. Jones led the hour-and-a-half tour with a loudhailer, detailing the history of sites on the route.
