Original Toronto Star caption: There are days when Victor Kiam takes it on the chin for creating such a high public profile as the man who bought the company. I'd like to fade into obscurity sometimes, admits Kiam, his deep tan complementing a conservative, blue pinstripe suit and flashy red tie. Kiam, of course, is the man who rescued the failing Remington shaver company in 1979. He's since boastd about it - endlessly - via television commercials in 15 different languages and shown in 31 countries. There's a price to pay for taking hold of a money-loser and turning it into a modern American success story. [Incomplete]
