Original Toronto Star caption: Hell will break loose if Canada's Metis are not given the same status as full-blood Indians, Joe Blyne, vice-president of the Alberta Metis Association, warns. The 750,000 Metis or half-breeds [sic] are denied privileges extended to the 250,000 ''registered'' native people. They especially want to share land being claimed by Indians.
