Original Toronto Star caption: Adam Zimmerman, 65, a long-time spokesman for the resource industry, is chairman of Noranda Forest Inc., Canada's largest producer of pulp, paper and forest products. A Toronto native, Zimmerman attended the Royal Canadian Naval College and earned a B.A. from the University of Toronto. Zimmerman joined Noranda Inc. in 1958 eventually becoming its president in 1982. In 1987 he became vice-chairman of Noranda and also president and chairman of Noranda Forest.
