Learning to race

Would-be racing drivers pay $500 to find out if they have the stuff to become racers. They drive about 250 miles over the Grand Prix course, gradually working up to racing speeds as they perfect their cornering, braking and shifting techniques under Magwood's direction in school's two Formula Ford racers.
