Original Toronto Star caption: When the umpire stepped away from the plate for a seventh-inning stretch, an over-exuberant fan dashed out to replace him at the Blue Jays home opener in Exhibition Stadium yesterday against Texas Rangers. But he didn't play umpire long. A groundskeeper was right there to call him out.
