Original Toronto Star caption: Leading the pack: Teo Fabi took a commanding lead in the Can-Am race at Mosport yesterday and stayed there to win in his Paul Newman owned March 817 machine. He beat his biggest rival, Geoff Brabham of Australia, driving a Lola, by 23.71 seconds. He broke 10 time and speed records in toying with the field. A crowd estimated at 70,000, one of the largest in years, watched the racing.
