Original Toronto Star caption: Inspired Lionette leads the troupe. That's Nicole Weir, front and centre, leading the troupe behind her in a baton routine. Although the 5-year-old majorette looks like she'd rather be doing something else, she's a first-class twirler and a member of the Willowdale Lionettes baton twirling club. The group, which meets Wednesdays at Cummer Valley Middle School, at 70 Maxome Ave. in North York, needs more Lionettes aged 4 and over. Registration will be held tomorrow.
