Original Toronto Star caption: Students are high on fitness. The first fitness trail in Scarborough opened yesterday, on 25 acres at L'Amoureaux Collegiate Institute on Bridletowne Circle and nearby parkland. Grade 9 students from the school rushed to try out the trail, which is about 2 1/2 miles long. To use it, participants run or jog for one station to the next, each of which has a sign listing the exercise to be done there - such as chinning - and the number.
