St. Louis defenceman Rob Ramage (5) and slick centre Doug Gilmour also were defending against the Leafs' power play. Blues quickly got the equalizer and the score reamined deadlocked until Dan Daoust scored the winner early on in the third period of an extremely chippy hockey contest. The win gives Leafs a 2-2 tie in the best-of-seven Norris Divison semifinal.
