Original Toronto Star caption: George Mann is about to lose control of United Trust Co. in a share exchange deal with giant Royal Trust. Disclosure of the planned change led to a $3.5 million increase in Mann's personal wealth yesterday, though paper gain doesn't mean anything. He says it's one deal where everybody wins.

These adult students, who are studying the sociology of social change, are not only studying the theory but becoming involved in social change themselves. Their class project this winter is to go out into the community and try to persuade people who never thought they could attend university that they possibly could.
