Original Toronto Star caption: North York's Eyes are on Art (N.Y.). Eye on Art, the North York Arts Council's second annual art exhibition and sale, was opened yesterday at the Hotel Triumph by Lieutenant-Governor Pauline McGibbon, who then looked at a metal sculpture held by its creator, Georgie Evans of Willowdale. Starting with conventional painting, including the houses on the wall, the artist learned welding five years ago to work in metal. The show, open from noon to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow, features work by 70 borough artists.
