Original Toronto Star caption: Immortal words: This famous poem, raread every Remembrance Day, was written by Canadian John McCrae, right, in a dugout near Ypres in 1915. He died of pneumonia in France in 1918. A new filmstrip being shown in Ontario school recalls the ultimate sacrifice made by McCrae and others.
