Original Toronto Star caption: Italian Garden at Oshawa is one of district's beauty spots. The beautiful development of the R. S. McLaughlin estate at Oshawa is attracting comment from visitors. Completed recently, it is conceded to be a fine sample of period architecture and lay-out. Long, even carpets of grass, splashing fountains and white walls complete the picture. The show palce has received hundreds of visitors. It is particularly beatiful by moonlight. In (1) is the ornate Italian wall, from where they obtain the best view of the garden.
