Original Toronto Star caption: Giant Marina for port credit. S. B. Bruce McLaughlin saw the possibilities and wasted no time when Canada Steamships pulled out of its big, modern harbor facilities at Port Credit. In a million-dollar project, the Mississauga developer and associates plan to make it the lake's biggest marina, complete with year-round shops, yacht displays, moorings and restaurants. Called Pier One, it's scheduled to be ready when sailing season opens in 1974.
