Original Toronto Star caption: Governor-general Roland Michener talks with children dressed in 19th century style at official opening of the restored Enoch Turner School, built in 1848 on Trinity St., near King and Parliament Sts. Practically in ruins a few years ago, the school was declared a national historic site in 1970 and is now almost completely restored. School children will live history there.
