Original Toronto Star caption: Beating the bushes for an escaper. Officers on foot and horseback comb the Don Valley yesterday in the largest search so far for escaped rapist Fred Merrill. Helicopters, boats and dogs also joined in the hunt, which turned up Jeans and T-shirts that police feel certain were Merrill's.
