Original Toronto Star caption: The keening voice of Joni Mitchell draws listeners from other performing areas at the Mariposa Folk Festival on the Islands. The low-key, three-day series of 151 concerts and craft displays drew 33,000 fans and ended yesterday with what one said was more folk stars than have ever been together before. It was all very casual: On Saturday afternoon singer Murray McLauchlan stopped short and introduced Miss Mitchell, who started singing immediately. Two years ago Mariposa ended its practice of closing each day's program with a major concert.
