Original Toronto Star caption: 38, Balor Moore, Pitcher, 6-2, 194, 27. Balar Moore thought his major league career was at an end a few years ago when arm miseries sidelined him. However, major arm surgery gave him a second chance and the Jays obtained him for $100 from California Angels last season. He worked both as a starter and in relief, winning 6, losing 9, and Jays figure it might be the best $100 they ever spent. He pitched 144 innings, more than in any of the previous four years which he spent in the minors. Moore broke in with Montreal Expos in 1970 and last year, Moore was given the starting as signment in the first Pearson Cup game.
