Original Toronto Star caption: Valentyn Moroz, 43, a hero to Canadian Ukarainians, spent 14 years in Soviet prisons for his nationalist writings. He was sent to New York from Siberia April 27 in exchange for some Soviet spies. During the years of captivity, he was the cause of dozens of demonstrations by Ukrainians in many countries. His wife Raina and son are still in the Soviet Union.
