Original Toronto Star caption: Days are numbered for railway station at Claremont (above.) Economy measures by CP Rail are leading to the closing of the two-storey building, which the railway says is difficult to heat and maintain. It will be replaced by a small concrete block buiding like the one at Myrtle (below.) CP spokesman John Cox said the smaller building is ''a more suitable structure... and geared toward efficiency.'' Cox says only ''nostalgia buffs'' complain about disappearance of old stations.
