Original Toronto Star caption: For 35 years Don Parrish has made his living with his voice, doing everything from reading the news to doing voice-over on commercial. In April he celebrates his 20th year as host of Candlelight and Wine, CHFI-FM's easy-listening evening show. Parrish, who grew up on a farm near Chatham, lives in a Don Mills townhouse with his second wife, Cleone Duncan, and records the show twice a week.

Posing as a 35-year-old Forest Hill married woman seeking a private adoption, Star staff writer, Doris Hopper, chats with Metro Lawyer Irving Copeland in his office. Copeland said he has handled 1,400 private adoptions in 18 years of practice as a lawyer as a lawyer and charges fees of $800 to $1,000 for his services. He said he has travelled widely to bring babies to Metro. I've travelled as far as St. John's and Vancouver. he said.

Refinishing pine tool moulds is just one of the projects 27-year-old Bill Don has taken on since he and he and his wife Bev decided to fulfil his life's dream, to run their own store. Ardith One, on Yonge St., features antiques and artifacts the pair has collected over the past two years. The young couple say that mixing marriage and business has given them something to work on for the rest of their lives.
