He was the everything must go auctioneer at the annual sale of the Scarborough Historical Society in Bendale Library. One of the more unusual items up for bids was the straw rooster. Mike Cote: 22, 2663 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Single. He is an assistant greens keeper at a golf course and ran unsuccessfully for trustee in Ward 1 in 1978 and 1980. He believes the school board should view declining enrolment as a chance to increase the teacher/student ratio. He is opposed to the section of Bill 127 that would reduce the decision-making power of local trustees.
