In what is believed to be the first time a major art exhibit has been staged at a regional shopping mall, about 125 works of art by 49 artists went on display for a week at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, starting yesterday. Sponsored by North York Arts Council, Art Scene '76 was opened by Robert Welch, culture and recreation minister. Sculptor Anne Harris (above) shows him how to saw marble.
