Original Toronto Star caption: Pledges welcome: Mail sorter Johnny Rowe (left) decided his annual walk for a worthy cause-he's accepting pledges-should benefit Martin Ramsay of Scarborough. Ramsay, 29, was blinded by a severe penicillin reaction more than a year ago and needs an eye operation in the U.S. to restore partial sight in one eye. Rowe, 50, will walk 35 kilometres.
