One shareholder, Morden Lazarus, left, was critical of Imperial Oil's proposed participation in a large recreation complex at Lake Louise, Alberta. Ronald S. Ritchie, vice-president, right, admitted some protests had been received from Imperial customers.

Maple Leaf Mills Ltd. president and chief executive R. G. Dale, offers some of company's products to shareholder Gina Wigle, 17, of Etobicoke, at firm's annual meeting yesterday at Harbour Castle Hotel, only a short distance from company's head office at 417 Queen's Quay West. The baked goodies were tangible evidence of recent takeover of Pillsbury Canada Ltd. which was acquired by Maple Leaf Mills last month.

Dunbar, 49, has used his equity in Canadian Tire shares to pay off his mortgage and start a business that later failed. He still has more than $120,000 left. He hopes to retire in few years.
